1. Introduction

YouTube Thumbnail Downloader respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.

2. Designated Agent

  • Statement of accuracy: State that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.   
  • Signature: Include your physical or electronic signature.

4. Procedure for Handling DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing material: We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the alleged infringer: We will notify the user who posted the allegedly infringing material.
  • Take appropriate action: We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent. The counter-notification must include:   

  • Identification of the material: Identify the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury: State that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.   
  • Consent to jurisdiction: Consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found.   
  • Contact information: Provide your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Signature: Include your physical or electronic signature.

6. Important Notes

  • False Claims: Please be aware that submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notifications may result in legal penalties.
  • Repeat Infringers: We will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
  • Thumbnail Usage: Our service only provides access to thumbnails that are already publicly available on YouTube. We do not host or store any copyrighted content.
